Diese sieht nicht nur sch\u00f6n aus, sondern dient der Verbesserung von Luft und Klima, insbesondere in stark belasteten Ballungsr\u00e4umen. Bei hohen Temperaturen helfen die Pflanzen bei der K\u00fchlung und an kalten Tagen tragen die Pflanzen zur zus\u00e4tzlichen W\u00e4rmed\u00e4mmung der W\u00e4nde bei, dar\u00fcber hinaus reduzieren sie L\u00e4rm und Staub und tragen zu einem rundum sch\u00f6neren Ambiente bei. Bautechnisch problematisch ist allerdings der Schutz der Hauswand vor Zerst\u00f6rungen durch Wurzeleinwuchs.
